Daily Announcements
Does your student tell you about the announcements read daily
in school? Or is your child in a gym class or other non-PA accessible
class during the reading of the announcements?
We are very sorry but Gavit does not do the written announcements and send them out to us anymore.
They do send a Weekly Schedule.

Originally because the PTSA heard from parents, students and teachers alike
that it is sometimes difficult to hear the announcements which are read
from the office every school day, we made an effort to eliminate this
problem. Our PTSA past-president, Pat Taylor, found an idea that did
help. A daily email announcement was sent directly to your home or office
computer. Our past-president received the information every day at
approximately 4 p.m. with the next day's announcements. Some
announcements are read two or three days in a row, depending on the
nature of the announcement. We will forward to your email after
4 p.m. each day the following day's announcements. We are sorry to say that though this project worked for over 3 years, Gavit is no longer providing these updates.
Pat will
still provide the school calendar of events, and important information, emailed directly to
you.
