Gavit is still giving Daily announcements over the PA system but is no longer offering them in a written form. We are working to keep the website updated and provide this link to Gavit MS/HS, for you to get information we may have missed.
Gavit is sending a Gavit Weekly News that included the coming weeks Schedule and other news of what is happening in the PTSA and any news provided by the teachers, clubs and acedemic happenings that we receive. You will also get emails occocasionally that have other important infromation that we feel you need to know. .

Originally because the PTSA heard from parents, students and teachers alike
that it is sometimes difficult to hear the announcements which are read
from the office every school day, we made an effort to eliminate this
problem. Our PTSA past-president, Pat Taylor, found an idea that did
help. A daily email announcement was sent directly to your home or office
computer. Our past-president received the information every day at
approximately 4 p.m. with the next day's announcements. Some
announcements are read two or three days in a row, depending on the
nature of the announcement. We will forward to your email after
4 p.m. each day the following day's announcements. We are sorry to say that though this project worked for over 3 years, Gavit is no longer providing these updates.
Pat now does the weekly news email to provide the school calendar of events, and important information, directly to
you.
