PTSA Membership Drives:

PTSA membership drives: GROW GAVIT

PTSA got off to a wonderful start by incresing our last years before school members by a 39.583 %. We want to honor our 50th year of PTSA and the 100th Year of Indiana PTA by celebrating with at least 100 members over last year's 342. Please help us acheive our goal.

Please remember parents and students that Juniors need to join PTSA to be eligible for scholarships in their senior year AND Seniors need to join this year to remain eligible. Membership in PTSA is one of the requirements for eligibility for the PTSA $300 scholarships given to graduating seniors.
Gavit PTSA's program is in it's 10th year and we have given 19 scholarships to our students to date!

We appreciate your support of your students and the PTSA.

School Board Meetings:
The Board of School Trustees will meet in regular session on Monday, September 12th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Administration Center. Hammond Council is sponsoring a Meet and Greet before the meeting at 5 PM. Come and meet your school board members.

The Hammond School Board typically meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. Although Board meeting dates and locations may be adjusted, the first meeting of the month is usually held in the Board Room of the Administration Center, 41 Williams Street. The second meeting of each month is typically held at a school site. Show your support, voice your opinion, show your concern — attend a School Board meeting.  Check SCH Board Information here
